VEGETATIVE PROPOGATION MEANS GROWING NEW PLANTS FROM VEGETATIVE PARTS LIKE STEM ,ROOTS, BUDS, ETC
PLANTS RAISED ARE- ROSE AND BANANA
ADVANTAGES-
1. The main advantage of vegetative propagation methods is that the new plants contain the genetic material of only one parent, so they are essentially clones of the parent plant.

Vegetative propagation is a method in higher plants which does not involve flowers, fertilization and seed production. The new plant grows from the vegetative part of the mother plant.. Asexual reproduction in flowering plant occurs through a vegetative part or unit of a plant that develops into a new individual hence it is called vegetative propagation or vegetative reproduction. The units of vegetative propagation could be leaf, stem or root. These are called vegetative propagules. plants that cannot produce viable seeds such as banana, seedless grapes, Oranges, rose, jasmine , sugarcane and chrysanthemum can be easily grown by vegetative propagation. As the plants grown from the seeds show variations due to genetic recombination, to get genetically identical copies and to maintain and preserve a stock of selected varieties vegetative propagation is the only mean to reproduce.
