Vegetative Propagation: Certain plants in which parts such as stem root, and leaves develop into new plants under appropriate conditions. This process of reproduction is called’ vegetative propagation in plants for example; banana, rose, sugarcane etc.

Two Advantages of vegetative propagation:

(a) It makes possible propagation of plants like orange, banana, rose and jasmine which have lost capacity to produce the seeds.
