Vegetative reproduction is a type of asexual reproduction in plants. Asexual reproduction requires only one parent and vegetative reproduction also requires only one parent. Basically in vegetative reproduction offspring is produced from specialized vegetative organs. For e.g. bud in potato
It is used for agriculture. Potatoes can be grown from the buds. Ginger can be grown from rhizome. Onions can be grown from bulb.
