Hey mate,

The vector measurement of speed and direction of motion is called Velocity.

The formula to measure velocity is

r = d / t

where

r is the rate or speed

d is the distance moved

t is the time it takes to complete the movement.

Hope it helps!

Answer:

Velocity is a measure of how fast a particular object moves in a specified direction. To define it we need both magnitude and direction.
