Velocity

➡️Velocity of a moving body is the rate of change of its position with time in a particular direction.

➡️In other words, the displacement of a moving body per unit time is called the velocity of the body.

➡️Velocity = Displacement / Time taken

➡️Velocity is a vector quantity. It's SI unit is metre per second (m/s). Being a vector quantity, velocity can be negative.

➡️Example ==> Two cars moving with a speed of 40km/h , one towards the east and other towards the west. Then velocity of one car with respect to the other is negative.
