Explanation:

Velocity:-

It is Distance travelled by body per unit of time in a given direction. It only has Magnitude.

In simple words the rate of change of an object with respect the the direction is called velocity.

V is the symbol for Velocity.

Average Velocity:-

Average velocity is the displacement of an object over time. To find the average speed of an object we divide the distance travelled by the time elapsed. We know that velocity is a vector quantity and average velocity can be found by dividing displacement of time.

V = D/t, where V equals the average velocity, D equals total displacement and t equals total time.

answer..

Average speed takes distance, that is total length travelled while being measured,

while average velocity takes displacement, that is the straight distance from the original position to the final position.p
