the distance travelled by an object in unit time and in a given direction is called is velocity.
the formula of velocity = displacement / time.
velocity is a vector quantity its SI unit is same as that of speed that is metre per second.
there are two type of velocity uniform velocity and nonuniform or variable velocity......
