Answer:

Hey Buddy here's ur answer

A large vein carrying deoxygenated blood into the heart. There are two in humans, the inferior vena cava (carrying blood from the lower body) and the superior vena cava (carrying blood from the head, arms, and upper body).

Role of Vena cava

The inferior vena cava is a vein. It carries deoxygenated blood from the lower half of the body to the right atrium of the heart. The corresponding vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the upper half of the body is the superior vena cava.

What is Vena cava made up of

Like arteries and medium-sized veins, the walls of the superior and inferior venae cavae are composed of three layers of tissue. The outer layer is the tunica adventitia or tunica externa. It is composed of collagen and elastic fiber connective tissues.
