Venus flytrap is an insectivorous plant .

when any insect is near to it then it suddenly traps it inside and absorb all the nutrition or any material which is important for its growth.

It is just as fascinating as how it catches prey. What begins as a rather typical, sword-shaped leaf grows a long, strong tendril at its tip. The tendril may curl and loop around another plant for support. Ultimately the tip of the tendril swells and droops, eventually opening to become a remarkable urn-like trap....
