A verb in a sentence denotes the action done in a sentence
A verb is necessary for a sentence to make sense.
For eg: I (play) football
Here PLAY is the VERB as it denotes the actions.
Verbs can be classified into
» Transitive Verb (which has object in it)
» Intransitive Verb (which does not have object in it)
» Finite Verb
» Non finite verb (those with gerunds,participle and infinitives)
