what is villi . what is its function

Hi dear....

Here is ur ans....

Villi are finger like projections...present in small intestine...they are more scatter in numbers....
The function of Villi is to increase the surface area for digestion....
Note..we can also say that it is a tool to faster the rate of digestion in humans..
