Cytoplasm is viscous, translucent liquid and can be said to be suspended inside cell including the inner contents of cell between the cell membrane & the nuclear membrane. Cytoplasm is a jelly like substance which contains all the cell contents. It is translucent as one can not see the nuclear membrane clearly.
