An essential nutrient the body cannot produce enough of on its own, so it has to get it (tiny amounts) from food. Fat soluble and water soluble vitamins. There are fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamins are stored in the fat tissues of our bodies, as well as the liver.

there are many vitamins like- vitamin A,vitamin B,vitamin C,Vitamin D etc.

Any group of organic compound which are important for normal growth and nutrition and cannot be synthesised by the body are called vitamins.

helps in production of energy and essential for the functioning of heart.
