Voice

The voice of a verb describe the relationship between the action that the verb Express and the participant identified by its arguments like subject object etc. its called voice.

There are 2 types of voice

1.Active

2. Passive

Active

when the subject is the Ajantha door of the action the verb in the passive voice.

Passive

when the subject is the target or undergoer of the action then the verb is said to be in the passive voice.

Examples

Kasu writes a letter.(active)

A letter is written by kasu.(passive)

You do not help me.(active)

I am not helped by you.( passive)

Change of voice

1.The object of the active voice is made the subject of the passive voice.

2. the subject of the active voice is made the object of the passive voice.
