1 mole CO2 occupies 22.4L volume

so, 5 moles has a volume of 5*22.4=112 L

0.5 moles=0.5*22.4=11.2L

Answer:

1) volume of CO2 occupying 5 moles = 112L

2)volume of CO2 occupying 0.5 moles = 11.2 L

Step-by-step explanation:

1) no of moles of CO2 = Volume/ 22.4L

                                  5 = Volume/22.4L

      therefore, volume =5x22.4L = 112L

2)no of moles of CO2 = Volume/ 22.4L

                           0.5 = Volume/22.4L

      therefore, volume =0.5x22.4L = 11.2L
