Volume of Cuboid

Volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height

Or, volume of cuboid (v) = l × b × h

Also, the length of the longest diagonal of a cuboid = √ (l² + b² + h²)

Volume of Cuboid

⇒ Volume of cuboid = length (l) × breadth (b) × height (h)

Additional Information

Cuboid is a three dimensional shape which has length (l), breadth (b), height (h) and width (w).

Total surface area of cuboid = 2 ( l × b ) + ( l× h ) + ( b× h )

The length of the longest diagonal in cuboid = √ (l^2 + b^2 + h^2)

There are 12 edges in cuboid.

There are 6 faces in cuboid.

There are 8 vertices in cuboid.

The faces of cuboid look like rectangle.

Example :- Bricks, books, box etc.
