First there will be evaporation of water from the water bodies due to the temperature in the air,then the evaporated water reaches the sky and cools down ,after that it gathers minute dust particles in the air and forms clouds as they gradually increase in size,then these clouds will get difficulty to hold the water and this water falls as rain, the rainwater forms small streams and join again to the water bodies.this whole process is known as water cycle
