water cycle is the process by which the water circulate again and again on the earth. the water bodies like lakes ponds etc. the heat of Sun evaporates the border of the upper surface of the water bodies water converts into the vapour it makes the cloud and after that by cooling of the water on the cloud. the rain gets heavy the cloud cannot hold the water anymore and it gets raining. this is called water cycle

Water cycle is also known as hydrological cycle and in this process glaciers and snow melt and water goes in rivers, seas and oceans which is then evaporated and it goes up in the air, later it forms clouds through process of condensation and it rains and when it does rains all the water is absorbed by plants which they lose in process of transpiration and again water goes up in sky condenses and forms clouds ready to rain again then water is collected by rivers, lakes, oceans and seas.
