What is water cycle ?

Water cycle is the process by which water evaporates from the ground , accumulates around dust particles and smoke to form clouds and then precipitates back to the Earth in the form of rain , snow , hail , etc. is called the Water Cycle.

Short note on water cycle :

(i) Water from the streams , lakes ,rivers and water bodies evaporate due to heat.

(ii) The same water that evaporates causing clouds.

(iii) This again comes back to the Earth .

(iv) This is an eternal phenomenon .

(v) Water cycle is a continuous process and is essential for life to sustain .
