HERE IS UR ANSWER..

Rainwater harvesting is the accumulation and storage of rainwater for reuse on-site, rather than allowing it to run off. 

The three water harvesting systems practiced in India are:

a) Bamboo pipe drip irrigation system –this system is used to irrigate crops and is practiced in the state of Meghalaya.

b) Guls and Kuls- this system is used to store water which is used for irrigation in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

It stores water by cutting a diversion channel.

c) Rainwater harvesting- this system is used to collect, store and use rainwater for irrigation.

water harvesting system:-
1) Bamboo pipe drip irrigation system
2)the system of using underground tanks
3)In hilly areas like Himachal, the system of using diversion Chanel's called gil's and kul's
are used.
