Water scarcity refers to the shortage of water due to the increasing population and growing demands of water.

The causes of water scarcity are based on the two factors..

1 qualitative, it means polluting water resources like rivers etc it reduces the quality of water and thus causes water pollution

2 quantitative.., it means shortage of clean drinking water .in some of the areas water is not equal distributed due to which drought occurs

Methods to control water scarcity are given below..

Number 1 ..equal distribution of water so that no region will exploit or overused water resources..

Number 2... stop water pollution

Number 3 ...reduce the over utilisation of water and use only limited quantity

So finally we know that water is a renewable natural resource but it is also not a free gift of nature so we need to conserve it so that our future generation will not suffer from water scarcity problem
