water table is the level of underground water which seeps into the ground.

the water table is falling down because the trees are being cut and the amount of water used will not be replenished

Ayush1125: thanks very much
anshi6: wlcm
anshi6: can u plz explain the relationship between deforestation and falling of water table
jitendrabisht: by cutting down the trees this process is known as deforestation by this process the trees consume water and release water in the form of evaporation and by the depletion of trees in the forest and the land areas there is also effect in the following of water table
Ayush1125: if deforestation takes place then the rainwater which falls down seeps into the ground will not be replenished because trees attract rain . so the undergroung water used is not replenish bcause rain will not be there
