Ultraviolet (UV) is electromagnetic radiation with wavelength from 10 nm (with a corresponding frequency of approximately 30 PHz) to 400 nm (750 THz), shorter than that of visible light but longer than X-rays.

Hy mate..❤

UV rays have a wavelength of 10-400 nm. This rays travel in a straight line with a speed of

3 \times 10^{8}  \: ms^{ - 1}

in air (or vaccum).

They are usually scattered by the dust particles in the atmosphere. They obey the laws of reflection and refraction.

Hope this helps...✌
