Answer:

Wavelength can be described as the distance between two successive crests of a wave . It is measured in the direction of the wave. This means the longer the wavelength , lower the frequency. Crest is the highest point of the wave whereas trough is the lowest. It is measured in units like metres, centimetres, etc.
