Explanation:

In particle physics, the weak interaction, which is also often called the weak force or weak nuclear force, is the mechanism of interaction between subatomic particles that is responsible for the radioactive decay of atoms.

Answer:

lt is the force that appears only between elementary particle involved in a nuclear process such as ß- decay of the nucleus. ln ß-decay , the nucleus emits and electron and an uncharged particle called neutrino. The electron and neutrino interact with each other through a weak nuclear force. The weak nuclear force is much stronger than the gravitational force, but much weaker than strong nuclear force and electromagnetic force. This is obvious from the fact that the decay of an elementary particle carries by weak nuclear force is much lower than that is caused by strong nuclear and electromagnetic force.
