Answer:

WEATHERING-  It is the process by which rocks on the land surface break down or crumble because of the action of the elements of weather such as rain, frost and temperature changes.

EROSION- Erosion is defined as the wearing away of the landscape by different agents like water, wind and ice. The process of erosion and deposition creates different land-forms on the surface of the earth.

Differences-

Erosion and weathering are the processes in which the rocks are broken down into fine particles. Erosion is the process in which rock particles are carried away by wind and water. Weathering, on the other hand, degrades the rocks without displacing them.

Answer:

1️⃣ What is weathering?

Weathering is the breaking down or dissolving of rocks and minerals on Earths surface. Once a rock has been broken down, a process called erosion transports the bits of rock and minerals away. ... Water, ice, acids, salts, plants, animals, and changes in temperature are all agents of weathering.

2️⃣What is erosion ?

Erosion is the geological process in which earthen materials are worn away and transported by natural forces such as wind or water. ... If the wind is dusty, or water or glacial ice is muddy, erosion is taking place.
