Answer:

Weeding is the process of removal of the unnecessary or wild plants that grow with the main crop by their own.

Weeding is nessesary since the weed plants absorb the minerals and water from the soil that leads to scarcity of minerals and water, sunlight, space etc. that causes in unhealthy crop production. Some weeds might be poisonous and can poison the main crop.

Weeding

Explanation:

The unwanted plants present in a crop field are called weeds. They might be plants that are poisonous or non-poisonous, useful in general or non-useful. But when it comes to the agricultural field, the main crop requires all the water and nutrients from the land. Weeds compete with the main crop for nutrients, water and sunlight and they grow comparatively faster, which is detrimental to the growth of the main crop. So weeds must be removed.
