They are removed by handpicking.

  • They fight with the plant for nutreints.
  • They hamper the growth of the main crop.
  • Sometimes the weed are so similar so they couldn't be distinguished from the main crop.

Two examples of weeds:-

  1. Parthenium
  2. Xanthomonas
  3. Gajar ghas
