Let acceleration of the lift moving down = a .
Weight of the person with mass m
= normal reaction force exerted by the floor on the person.
= m g - m a.

If lift is moving downwards with acceleration “a” and mass of women is “m” then
Weight = mg
Direction: Downwards
Pseudo force = ma
Direction: Upwards
Net force = Weight - Pseudo Force
= mg - ma
= m(g - a)
Apparent weight of women = m(g - a)
