Dear all, I doubt whether the practical and an appropriate answer for this question ever exists.

But on a contrary, the nearest answer and the most probable one is.
In South India, several women desire to wear only white Lungi (half or evenfolded) & Vest or "Angavastram" once in while occasionally or even once a year but their male counterpart wear very often and almost daily as it is their traditional clothing.
