They are of different types. They are:-

  • Granulocytes
  • Monocytes
  • Lymphocytes

★However the given types are further classified into smaller parts.

Granulocytes→neutrophils, eosinophils and basophyll

Lymphocytes→Tcells and B cells

The various functions of the white blood cells are:

  • They protect us against disease
