In the ancient period women had no rights and equality as others . As you recall the history you might remember there was no rights for women to study or speak in the society.


As in late 19th century women got equal rights in society by legal acts. In 1990 the national commission for women set up an act of parliament to safe guard the right and legal entitlement of women . Even india got freedom from british at 1945 . Only women got freedem after so many years .


Women empowerment includes action of increasing the status of women through education, raising awareness,literacy and training.
