Wool is a fibre obtained from the fleece or hair of animals like sheep,goats,and camels.Since it is obtained from hair,it is made of Protein.

Properties of Wool:-

• Wool is a natural,biogradable fabric,that is soft to touch.
• The fires of wool trap air within their gaps,which help in keeping the wearer warm as air does not conduct heat well.
• It is fire-resistant material - a natural fibre like wool does not melt or stick to the skin when it burns.It leaves an ash.It also stops burning Once the source of the fire is taken away.When wool is burnt,it smells like burning hair.
