i.e. W = F × S

Sl unit = Joule.

eg :- An object of mass 'm' move making a displacement 's'

WORK = F × S
I.e W = FORCE × DISPLACEMNT

It's SI unit is Joules. 1 Jolule = 1 kg m/s ^2.

If the displacement ( distance between initial and final position will be zero than the work done will also be zero ).
The rate of doing work is termed as power.
Power = W/T
I.e Power = Work ÷ Time .
