what is wrong here :-
a=b
a²=b²
a²=b x b
a²= ab
a² - b² = ab - b²
(a+b)(a - b) = b (a - b)
(a+b) = b
b+b = b
2b= b
2=1

Now tell me how this happened ?

Step-by-step explanation:

this is because a =b = 0

because in this equation we have proved that 2b = b, which is valid for no number except 0
