If a majority community rules then there will be conflicts in that society or country, and there is a feeling of loneliness that developed in miniority community . there should be power sharing between sinhalas and tamils.

so rule by majority community is not a taboo in democracy if it is based on opinion.(2) of course, sinhalas from the majority community of sri lanka and it should have bigger share in the government. but it does not mean that other's do not get proper representation. if it is so, it will not be true democracy.
