what is x if 35/2x+2=40/3x-7

35/2x+2=40/3x-7

= 2+7 = 40/3x -35/2x

= 9 = (80-105)/6x

= 9= -25/6x

= 9×6x = -25

= 54x = -25

= x = -25/54
