The X ray diffraction technique or X ray crystallography is the technique in which the crystalline atoms cause an X ray passed through it to deflect in different directions. By measuring the angle of deflection and the intensities of the deflected X ray beams a crystallographer can predict the concentration of atoms in the crystal. This method is known as X ray diffraction technique.
