ABOUT YELLOW FEVER

Yellow fever is a viral disease that is spread by mosquitoes. The disease gets the name from one of the symptoms that occurs in serious cases where the skin becomes yellow in color, also called as jaundice. This disease attacks the liver, and it can lead to serious illness and even death.

Yellow fever is an acute viral fever caused by RNA virus that is transmitted through the bite of female mosquito (Aedes aegypti). This is most common in primates and in the region of tropical and subtropical region of South America and Africa not in Asia.
