So, the aim of life is to give your life a purpose and a meaning. Certainly, it is done by finding out what truly matters to you. Your purpose is to create more joy in life or to show others how you can live your life in the best possible manner.

Explanation:

With my parents around, they said I should become an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer and I seriously wanted to be one.. The uniform and the stories that I have heard from my mom were so much fascinating then.

In my 6th class, I wrote an essay on what I would do if I had a hundred million dollars, I wrote about building a spaceship to other planets. I decided to become an astronaut and fly with that machine!

While in class 8th, I become a bit more rational and thought an astronaut would become a bit too much ambition, and I could still be a space scientist. I had no clue what a space scientist would do though.

Fast forward to class 10th, I started liking Biology and decided on becoming a doctor and I worked hard on it. Mugged up terms, took to reading a lot of bio stuffs, etc.

During my 11th and 12th, I thought I might as well keep my options open to become a journalist or a lawyer, since both the fierce hunger for knowledge and success reflects in both these fields.

As always I have been an average student, and I appeared for both engineering and medical entrance exams. I did score a rank in the medical entrance but that would not have earned me a free seat at a government hospital. I decided to join engineering, and picked to major in Computers as I had once upon a time loved them.

Now, I am a happy Software Engineer by choice, and trust me it is not an oxymoron.

I happen to like my job, and my only high is the success and recognition that comes along with my work. For me now the concept of aim in life has changed, and here are a few things that I look forward to:

To be a better person - from the one I was the previous day.

Learn to be happy, share happiness and be happy for others.

Improve in my career and push the boundaries further with calculated risks.

Smile, always!

Get a dog as pet.

Stay Fit.

Eat a lot (stay a foodie) and Travel.

Live life.

Thank you for asking Seema ma'am, I really enjoyed answering this. :)

PS: I am sorry for this really long answer.
