Explanation:

The idea if happiness varies from person to person. People are different. Whatever that would make an extrovert happy is probably NOT the exact same thing that excites an introvert. Well, unless it's pizza. Kidding.

Seriously though, for you to be happy, you have to discover yourself first. And while at it love yourself. Self- love. You are imperfect yes but who is perfect anyway? When you love yourself, and you know yourself, you will know places that make you happy. Food that makes you happy. The people who make you happy and so forth.

As an extrovert, I love traveling. It makes me happy. Visiting those amazing places, admiring the beauty of nature, hanging out with the few friends that I have. Still on that traveling vibe, if I was rich enough, I would visit every country in the world. And go vacationing every weekend. Says someone who has never even left Kenya. But just wait!

The world is full of unhappy people because we all think that we are in competition with fellow human beings when in the real sense, we are not. We feel insufficient because we aren’t as rich as them, as educated as them, as well connected as them, as beautiful as them, and as everything else as them. We should understand that everyone is running their own race in this world. Your destiny is not my destiny. When you realize this, you stop living your life for people and start living a fulfilling life which makes you happy.

Stop feeling answerable to the society. Get rid of the societal boundaries. Don't bow to societal pressure. Whenever you say yes to someone, make sure its a yes from the inner you.

I read somewhere, I am not sure if it here, that the whole purpose of life is to have fun and seek happiness.

Do you know what makes you happy? Go for it. Do it. Be happy.
