Answer:

Explanation:

Reaction of acid with metals :-

Acid + Metal —> Salt + Hydrogen

Activity :-

We need test tube ,delievery tube ,glas strough ,dil.HCL and Zinc Granules and a cork to do the activity.

Procedure ;-

1.Take 10ml of dil.HCl in a test tive and add fee pieces of Zinc granules to it.

2.And observe .

3.Pass the gas evolved through a delivery tube into another test tube having soap solution.

4.Bring a lighted match stick near to it and observe

Observation :-

We have observed a gas is evovled .The gas is tested ,as it puts of with pop sound ,the resulted gas/evolved gas is Hydrogen gas.

=> 2HCl + Zn —> ZnCl_2 + H_2

Here , Hydrogen gas is evolved.

Acids react with metals and give corresponding salt and liberates hydrogen gas.
