Actors have as much right as anybody else to run for office.
We’re as likely as anyone to be citizens, voters, hard workers, good communicators, effective leaders, tough negotiators, skilled diplomats and businesspeople, educated students of history and society, empathetic and compassionate representatives, and incisive strategists.
That’s what I want in a politician.
