What is your opinion about killing a tree? Is it justified to cut trees? What are the feelings of the poet?

my opinion is, we should not cut trees because growing of a tree is longer process but if you try to kill the tree it won't take time........

but I don't know the feeling of the poet I have not read the chapter I am still in class 8
