In my opinion according to Augustine 'self' is his relationship with God.
- St. Augustine was the bishop of the Hippo, he was a great philosopher and has given many notable works.
- He has a major contribution to the foundation of medieval and modern Christian thought.
- He believed that God has created this world out of nothing. Augustine said that God is eternal and without motion because everything happened in him before this world.
- St. Augustine believed that inner peace cannot be achieved without finding god's love.
- Some of his notable works are Confessions of Augustine, The City of God, On the Trinity, etc.
