What is your perspective about ausable as a secret agent after close reading of the story,the mitnight visitot?

Ausable was not looking like an secret agent . As when a person she him he didn't call him a secret agent because he was very fat and very old although he was very sharp minded , cam but not crazy makes him a perfect agent , but as seen from outside he looks like opposite of a secret agent.
