Haritha Harma is known as the brainchild of K Chandrashekhar, State Chief Minister of Telangana.
On 5th July 2015, he launched a produce whose aim is to cover the tree in the State.
He motivates people to plant on the sapling of the tree as there is an increase in deforestation due to malls, apartments, etc.
