Thank you for this question. Please find the answer below:

The Mughal architecture was one of the most extravagant and glamourous architecture in the world. It has been inspired by Iranian, Persian and Roman architecture. Inscriptions in the monuments have been taken from Islamic scriptures; calligraphic portrayal of the inscriptions has been a dominant and significant feature of the  Mughal architecture.

Mughal architecture has been a symbol of power and might as it has been made of expensive stones and bricks etc. Mughals used to build these monuments to show their extravagant lifestyles and to fulfill its needs.

Mughals had a really great eye for monuments and architecture.

Take Shah Jahan for example.

He built the Taj Mahal in honor of his wife Mumtaz.

It is one of the greatest architectures of the world, purely crafted by marble and thousands and thousands of workers.

It is one of the seven wonders of the world.
