Answer: ZAID CROPS ARE THE SUMMER SEASON CROPS GROWN ON THE SUBCONTINENT ON DRY LANDS WHICH DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR MONSOONS . THEY CAN GROW IN THE LONG DURATION BETWEEN KHARIF AND RABI CROPS . THESE CROPS ARE MAINLY GROWN IN THE SUMMER SEASON AND IS CALLED ZAID CROP SEASON .
