★ In the short duration between Rabi and Kharif crop season, mainly from March to June, are "Zaid crops."

★ Zaid crops are grown in the irrigated parts of the country like Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

★ Some examples of Zaid crops are pumpkin, cucumber, bitter groud etc.
